CAD Meets Coloring

I started working with mandalas as a substance abuse counselor at a halfway house and found that they were a rather interesting and unassuming way to introduce my clients to various meditation techniques. Imagine their initial consternation and disdain as I passed out notebooks full of printouts and announced we would be coloring for the next hour. But it did not take long, once they took the leap of faith, and now you must imagine a roomful of adults, some of them pretty rough looking, all hunkered down over their mandalas and oblivious to the world around them. The only sounds to be heard would be breathing and perhaps a quiet, "Could you please pass me the red?"

Then I caught the bug and decided that I wanted to design my own mandalas. Who ever would have thought that a CAD program would fit the bill so perfectly? All of these designs were laid out using AutoCAD, printed, then manually outlined & colored.
