It isn't just for cooking or dipping bread. For centuries Olive Oil has been respected for its cleansing, healing, & moisturizing properties as well as its marvelous flavor.
To use as a facial cleanser or makeup remover, simply massage a small amount of the oil into your skin for a few minutes & then wipe off with a (non-synthetic) cotton ball or pad. Repeat, if necessary, & follow up with a mild astringent if you please. Essential oils such as Rosemary, Tea Tree, or Lavender can be added to increase the cleansing and/or healing aspects of the oil.
Apply small amounts to minor scrapes & cuts, again adding essential oils as you like, to assist healing & keep the wound area supple.
